CallSorted (“we”, “us”) provides an automated missed-call answering service for trade businesses. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and how it’s handled.
What we collect
- Business contact details you give us when you sign up (business name, phone number, trade type, notes).
- Caller phone numbers and the answers callers give when a call is handled by the system.
- Voice recordings and transcripts generated when a caller speaks to the automated line.
- Login email addresses for client portal and admin access.
How we use it
- To operate the callback service — answering missed calls, capturing answers, and texting a summary to the business owner.
- To let a business log in and manage their own call questions and call history.
- To contact businesses who submit the signup form about setting up the service.
Who we share it with
We use third-party processors to run the service: Twilio (phone calls, speech-to-text, and SMS delivery), Supabase (database and account hosting), and Vercel (website hosting). We don’t sell personal data to anyone.
Call recording
Calls to the automated line may be recorded and transcribed so the business can review what a caller needs. Callers are notified of this when the call is answered.
How long we keep it
We keep call records and transcripts for as long as a business remains a client, so they can refer back to their call history. Data is deleted when a client account is removed.
Your rights
You can ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by contacting us using the details below.
